Lets face it: as chihuahua owners, we love to pamper our little dogs with the latest chihuahua supplies and accessories. There’s something about these adorable little dogs that is simply endearing. In the end, we’ve decided to bring in six of the very best dog perfume mixtures that we’ve been able to find and that have turned some of the biggest perfume for dogs skeptics out there into raving fans of these scented supplies for chihuahuas! Dog bags for small dogs are a bit of a passion for mine, and as a chihuahua clothes enthusiast who has his own little Chihuahua Shop boutique, I thought it would be fun to bring some of the latest small dog bags over to the store! My dog lover friends who have smaller dogs like chihuahuas and yorkies and Maltese pups are always talking about how much fun it is to take your little dog around with you in small bags for dogs that look like the latest fashion bags from Louis Vuitton and the like, and while I’m not much of a murse kinda guy myself, I can appreciate why so many of my friends love these small dog carriers!

I get to see a great many dog bags for small dogs each week when I visit the various small dog clothing hot spots, here in the bay. Just this week, I’ve seen two chihuahua dog bags that look like they came straight out of Chanel, and I know for a fact they were purchased by the chihuahua owners for less than $100-a-pop! I’m telling you, these dog bags for chihuahuas, and these designer dog bags for small dogs in general, are just so hot right now–they’re almost starting a fashion fiesta down here!

I’m freaking excited because the new designer pet supplies for chihuahuas and other little dogs have been arriving and we have them up in the Chihuahua Shop now! I’ve been trying for a while now to bring in some cool new chihuahua collars and the new season dog collars have just arrived, so I’m stoked! I’ve been working to find some great new designer dog supplies over the past few weeks and I’ve seen everything from eco friendly dog beds that you can throw away into the landfill and it will break down quickly, apparently, to car harnesses for dogs that you use to strap in your little dog into your back seat like you would a child!

It’s kind of crazy what’s out there right now in the way of these new luxury pet supplies, but I think I’m going to stick to finding the best chihuahua apparel and other fashion for smaller dogs that I can, and bring them in for you guys. The dog toys, the funky LED dog collars and leashes, the doggy smart ramps for getting your dog into the back of your car without having to jump in (lol!): they’re cool and everything, but I’m seeing a lot more interest in chihuahua clothes and the whole dog fashion thing at the moment, so unless you guys really want some of these extras and you let me know about it, I’m going to keep working on finding and bringing the coolest little clothes to the Chihuahua Clothes Store, here.

On the designer pet accessories front, I have been thinking about finding some cool, blingtuclar dog dowls to the shop, but I haven’t found any that really scream “this is my water, bitch!” in that whole princess, queen-of-the-house way that I think one of these bowls should read. We dog have chihuahua jewelry that speaks to that inner chihuahua queen some dominant chihauhas have, but I want to find some matching dog water bowls to go with those!

I’ve also been checking out some designer dog houses and dog crates lately, because every little doggy needs a crystal-studded little house of his own, right? I’ve also seen some adorable dog totes and chihuahua carriers from Louis Vuitton and, if I’m not mistaken, Chanel. I’d be super stoked if we could bring those to the Chihuahua Store, here!

These dog supplies are very hot right now, and I’m not sure about all of the dog accessories I’ve seen being marketed out there for chihuahuas and yorkies and maltese dogs lately, but I have seen some super cool designer pet supplies that would make great dog lover gifts. Travelling with your little dog can be a trying experience. It depends, of course, on the temperament of your dog and the relationship you share with each other, but I’ve noticed a lot of chihuahuas in particular that are frantic and antsy, that their owners either haven’t trained or they don’t treat like dogs, so they develop these issues and can be a little more anxious than bigger breeds of dogs that people take a bit more seriously, and it can be a nightmare to travel with this dog, often. If your dog gets like this but you want to travel with him, then I heartily recommend taking a look at chihuahua carriers that allow you to more easily transport your dog. Especially if you’re going to be on an airplane and you want to fly with your little dog, you’re going to need one of these pet carriers to stow under your seat with your chihuahua inside. These useful pet carrier bags have become very in-vogue and you see them everywhere today. Even dorm students trying to sneak their little dogs into the college buildings are picking up these carriers like crazy and slipping their dog inside and walking around inside like there’s nothing to it. If you’re crafty, you can even slip on the plane unnoticed with your dog and avoid having to pay the crazy fee the airlines want to charge you these days for carrying a dog on board, if you play your cards right: with a chihuahua carrier that looks like a little duffel bag, you can take off your sweater, put it over and cover up the open part of the carrier while you’re at the ticket counter and checking your luggage so nobody spots the dog, and then walk through to customs without a problem, and then you’re set!–nobody in customs actually communicates with the airlines and they never ask to see a ticket or anything for your chihuahua when you pull him out and walk through the scanner–they’re too busy swooning over how cute he looks in his “chiwawa” clothes, haha! I’ve done this at least a dozen times, and each time, I’m saving even more money because the prices for flying with your dog keeps going up, but this is becoming rather tangential and beside the point!

The point is that traveling with a dog in a carrier makes the whole process much easier, especially if you have kids and other craziness happening around you on travel day and you’ve got a bunch of little things happening all at once, grabbing your attention, and you’ve not a zen master of traveling and you’re like most of us and the whole process is a little chaotic (but fun!)

Even when not traveling, I make use of my dogs’ chihuahua carriers because there’s something soothing to dogs about a smaller, confined space that calms them down. Apparently, the smaller the space they’re in, the calmer they get, or so they say, according to dog expert Cesar Millan of the the Dog Psychology Center in Los Angeles, California. I’ve definitely noticed this to be true with my dogs, especially if there’s a loud storm happening and there’s lightning and loud thunder that’s freaking my little doggies out like crazy, and they’re running around: often I can just put them in their dog carriers/kennels and they calm right down. There’s something about not giving them the option to move around and physically freak out that keeps their mind more calm. And they like it. They like that peaceful, tranquil state of mind, I notice
